Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Sojourner Bible app, published by VentureLK LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

Sojourner Bible is a bilingual (English / 中文) Bible reader with optional AI-generated voice narration. The reader is free. Certain voice features are paid (see Purchases).

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Voice cloning — acceptable use

You may create an AI voice only from your own voice, or a voice you have the person's explicit permission to record and clone. You must not use the App to impersonate, defraud, harass, or create a voice of anyone without their consent, or for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or remove voices and accounts that violate this. You retain ownership of your voice; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the App's narration to you.

Purchases and subscriptions

• One-time purchases (a chapter credit, the Starter Pack, the intro unlock) unlock features as described at the point of sale.
• Plus is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. It automatically renews at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Purchases are processed by Apple under Apple's Standard EULA. Refunds are handled by Apple.
• AI-generated audio costs real money per render; consumable credits and clone unlocks are non-refundable once used, except as required by law or Apple's policies.

Scripture content

Bible translations are provided for personal devotional and study use. The King James Version is public domain. Chinese Union Version texts are used under their respective terms. Translations are provided “as is.”

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VentureLK LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. AI-generated audio may contain inaccuracies; always refer to the written text for the authoritative reading.

Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
